Queen Beans Coffee House is much more than the name suggests. It's more like a gift shop, selling a lot of country themed items and kitchenwares.
There is a counter and a few tables near the front of the store, offering coffee and other beverages, and pastries. We sat in a very cozy lounge area near the rear entrance, sipping our cappucinos. The coffee was good and the seating was very comfortable.
I could have taken a nap but we struck up a conversation with a local gentleman who is a regular at the store. He was there enjoying his coffee and reading his newspaper. It was a nice conversation. This is small town living. Very nice. -

Shopping and Sipping your coffee at the same time?!
Queen Beans Coffee House on Main Street Port Perry is a cute store to visit. A lot of keepsakes and gifts ideas for the country living.
And if you are like me, looking for a coffee and a place to rest (I was a little tipsy after drinking at Old Flames), there are comfortable seating available. Those arm chairs and sofa at the back of the store are just super comfy!
Cappuccino was good even with a light milk foam. Enjoying my drink on a rainy afternoon was priceless!
$10 minimum for credit card transactions. -

Stopped by for some cappuccinos but stayed for a while to look around the shop. There's a lot of fun and cute things to check out :) Good coffee, nice atmosphere, relaxing music.

It looks so small from outside, but it's actually a huge store with a great selection of gifts and jewellery. They also have an amazing coffee bar with pastries & such. We had a heavenly dark chocolate tart with caramel inside, in the flakiest, yummy crust... Mmmm. And hubby said the coffee was good. All in all, I would give it 4.5 stars. The only gripe: store prices. But it's Port Perry, so that's normal, I guess. Nothing more than the usual. You should stop in. Definitely.
